Privacy policy
The full policy is being reviewed by a lawyer. Until it's published, here is an honest summary of how Runger works.
In short
- What we collect. Your account details (email, name, date of birth to confirm you're 18 or over), your running profile and goals, your plans, your runs including GPS tracks, effort ratings and notes, plans you import, and, if you allow it, workouts from Apple Health.
- Where it's processed. On Runger's own servers. Photos and scans of plans are read there too, and uploaded files are deleted within 24 hours.
- AI. To build and adjust plans, Runger uses a third-party AI model. Only depersonalised text and training data go to it: your name, email and other identifying details are removed first. Your personal data, photos and files are never sent to it.
- Health data needs your consent. Runger asks separately before reading Apple Health or using your location, and you can withdraw either at any time in iPhone Settings.
- No ads. There is no advertising in Runger, and your data isn't sold or shared for advertising.
- Your control. You can export your data, or delete your account; deletion becomes permanent after 30 days.
This summary is for convenience and is not legally binding. The full policy below, once published, is what applies.
